Dr.Aum Kotwal (born 30 August 1989) is an Indian advocate and legal scholar practicing primarily before the Gujarat High Court and the Supreme Court of India. He is known for his work in constitutional and administrative law, public interest litigation, arbitration, securities regulation, urban development and town-planning law, land-revenue and tenancy disputes, Stamp Act litigation, and matters involving foreign nationals. Dr Kotwal has appeared in several sensitive and high-profile matters, including litigation connected with the Rath Yatra, proceedings involving political leaders, student-rights cases such as those related to Shanti Business School, cases involving foreign citizens, and proceedings relating to the RTI matter concerning the educational degree of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
